I don't really see the need to further break up the already confusing neighborhood names in this side of town. As someone who moved from NoDa proper to VH about 5 years ago, get tired of constantly having to clarify where I live. That said, great pictures. A lot of fun construction and a lot more people walking around these areas that there used to be. 25th St bridge has been huge but they've also done some nice sidewalk improvements to connect Jordan Pl better. Both Davidson and Brevard need more marked crossings.

When I read about the Daniel Corp I keep thinking that Levine has rebranded.

I just hope they build a much better engagement with the light rail with a trail or public plaza on that side. Residential would be nice too. That part of uptown could use it.

Security on the light rail and their platforms have seemed elevated in the last several months. I've read that, on the rail side, it has been a function of a new/better security contractor from CATS. Not sure, but I see the results.

Haha, just noticed that going to Haberdish tonight. Still like to have things "down the hill" so hopeful for the retail that will be coming to these locations.

From the Twitters: Somewhat sad to lose this strip as these old warehouses are actually maintained/occupied. Also I buy delta whatevers there. Definitely will strengthen the case for a a real crossing and/or light at 24th.

They've completely demolished those warehouses on Davidson between 24th and 25th street. I was just looking earlier and it would be great to have at least a ped bridge over the creek on 24th too

Feels like a successful music festival is just going to encourage Levine to sit on these lots for longer.

It is a shame that the former Wells 1 is so empty. I have not been up in the tower since COVID, but the lobby renovations are super nice. It is the office tower in Uptown with the best connectivity to the light rail. Not only is it close to the 3rd Street stop but the path there is all either covered or inside. It's also still connected through the whole Duke Energy to Hearst overstreet mall. Just very well situated.
