Brad Parker, who handles subdivision cases for the RPC, says the specific number of single-family subdivision housing lots that gained final plat approval — meaning they received the final OK for construction — in 2021, was 2,087, and the total approved on preliminary plat approval for the year was 3,015... Ruth Russell, who oversees site plans for the RPC, said the combined total of all multifamily housing units that came through her office for consideration and approval, for the year, was 3,893.

The people who make up those churches all pay taxes on everything they buy in Tennessee, they pay property taxes on their homes, they pay federal income taxes, etc.

Churches are not the only non profit organizations who are not subjected to certain tax liabilities!

My dude, it was a joke. You can relax now.

Good for them, though I'm not sure "affordable" exactly goes hand in hand with "desirable."  A Koenigsegg Regera is the car I most desire, but definitely not the car I'm most likely to wind up with due to the fact that I'm not a Saudi prince.  lol

I go past this site to visit extended family, and it's a prime location. It's on the way home for an awful lot of people, which is where supermarkets like to be located. I'm excited and I'll only pass it once a month or so.....

Rutherford County / Murfreesboro News:

Saw a sign up on the corner of Blaze Dr. and Fortress Blvd announcing the future site of Rutherford County Clerk and DMV.

Guess they heard our cries to put more public amenities on the Blackman side of town and responded with this. Doubt we're ever going to get any kind of park or similar public recreational space at this point.
