National Museum of African American Music at 5th & Broadway will have its Grand Opening to the public on Sat. Jan. 30th.

With Covid-19 precautions in place, including limited capacity of guests, tours will initially follow a weekend schedule of Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The 56,000-square-foot museum's ticket prices are $24.95 for adult general admission, $18.75 for students and teachers with ID and senior citizens, $13.50 for museum guests ages 7–17, and free for visitors 6 years old and under.

I cannot wait to visit that museum... it looks incredible!  Also thrilled to see my girl, Nashville's own unbelievable talent Esperanza Spalding get her own feature!  If you haven't heard her, look her up... she's SO good.  I'd post a link here, but ya know.... it's a development thread.

Not to detail the thread but I believe you're referring to jazz pianist/vocalist Kandace Springs, who's from Nashville. Esparanza Spalding is from Portland, OR and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY I believe. Coming from the resident jazz head lol.

Oh wow, thank you for the correction!  Candace is phenomenal too but a friend of mine told me Esperanza was from Nashville and I have believed it ever since!  Shows what I get for not fact checking!  lol
