I'm thinking that there will not be a single tenant to replace H&M. The space will be allocated to smaller tenants.

This represents a major upgrade to the downtown dining scene!  Does anybody know if there is a way for foot traffic from the Commerce Street side of this development to reach the retail section without going around the AB building on 4th avenue?

If you go to the website and look at the Gallery photos, it looks like you can walk in the Commerce entry to the office building and go around to an upper level of the Public Market space.

No, I think it went through MDHA and I saw renderings somewhere at one point. I think it is located in the corner of the apartment tower.

Yeah, I agree the fencing is a bad look, not to mention the hazard of pedestrians stumbling over the curbs.      The bollard project on the north side of Broad is a better look, but it's also a significant project that widened the sidewalks and added new concrete curbs  and expanded pedestrian bulbs at the corners.      In other words, in a city with no money in the budget, we'll probably have the cattle fencing for a while.

So glad the 5&B food court is being selective about the chains they bring in.  It's important, as all of LoBro has very few chains. I think that's important. Yes, there's the Hard Rock, Mellow Mushroom, and a couple of others. But there are few places anymore that aren't saturated with chain restaurants.

BDO USA (which provides accounting, tax, and advisory services) has signed a lease for 14,000 sq. ft. on the 14th floor of the 5th & Broadway Office Tower.  They plan to double their existing 70-person Nashville headcount during the duration of the lease.  This marks 63% of the available 385,000 sq. ft. space being leased.
