It's such an interesting juxtaposition Dollar Tree and Orange Theory — a striking example of the transition underway.

The Soho House boutique hotel that will take up residence in the May Hosiery complex (500 Houston St.) will feature 49 rooms, a swimming pool, and private members-only club.  It appears that the front entrance will face Houston St.  Metro documents show that the hotel will be joined by four restaurants, as well as various artisan, office, and retail space.  Below is a shot of a lobby of another Soho House lobby here in the states.

Wish it was going to be something more intriguing, but alas, it is just going to be a surface lot for May Hosiery's office, retail, and hotel tenants.

Core drilling was on site earlier this week for the final Finery project. There's also activity on Gray St across from Diskin Cider; trying to find out what's going on.
