  1. ^^^I hope they keep the classic design that is happening along West End.
  2. I'm starting to warm up to this location. I love the amount of riverfront and the history that could be made here. I see a large marina and hotel on the river maybe located where the Exxon tanks are now. The hotel would have a golf course view on the eastside and baseball stadium on the west. The land along the river is going to be in high demand IMO.
  3. My guess is the hotel brand on this project will be The St. Regis. Dean Stratouly with the Congress Group is saying he's planning a 5 star hotel in a new project.
  4. ^^^Maybe they are painting the brick white like the others in this development?
  5. ^^^Nashville is a party town. The Lower Broad area brings in a ton of money to the city. If I were calling the shots I would not allow the venders and have no soliciting including non profit organizations and homeless people. Also, would permanently close Broadway from 5th to the river with the numbered streets always open. Any city our size would give anything to have a guarantee active vibe of Lower Broad everyday of the week. This will all shake out when Nashville Yards opens and the Arcade area between 4th and 5th are complete. Party towns ebb and flow, just look at Las Vegas, New Orleans, and New York. Be Happy!
  6. Noticed today that Levi's will be opening a standalone store next to the Nike store. BTW downtown was packed today. Thought I would pick a day when it would be less busy. I guess those days are long gone now.
  7. I live in a Southern Land Development. Love it! They are very thoughtful with their design,
  8. Sorry no image. Just came upon a rendering of the new Dallas Convention Center and thought it looks just like the Music City Center. Check it out....
  9. ^^^The Nations neighborhood is incredibly dense. That area reminds me of a northeastern city.
  10. ^^^Totally agree. Rob Lowe is redeveloping the Arcade and purchasing old buildings on 4th and 5th ave. I feel Nashville will have many pockets of entertainment. The cool thing is we will be able to walk from one to the other. The Gulch, Nashville Yards, riverfront along 1st ave all the way from Pubic S to Rolling Mill Hill, Peabody street in SoBro from the river to The Ritz at the roundabout and of course Lower Broadway.
  11. ^^^The only standalone Channel stores in the south are in Texas and Florida. We are getting this before Atlanta and Charlotte.
  12. Was downtown Friday for a haircut and to see a band that evening. 5th and Broadway was banging. I'm starting to think that Nashville has one of the best vibes in the southeast. Blocks and blocks of packed sidewalks. It's truly amazing how in 10 years our city has become so urban. We are lucky to have such a vibrant city center everyday.
  13. ^^^Congratulation on a great win!
  14. ^^^I can't think of one good reason to have either convention. So much so I plan to make my opinion known.
  15. So.....two more days before the World Cup Committee announcement of 2026 American host cities. Do y'all think we will make the cut? My prediction is just barely. I'm a yes!
