^^^For me this area right now is missing good retail and food choices. I also don't feel safe here at night.

I feel like a real jerk for saying this, but at this red hot moment would anyone on this forum want to pay what they will ask for a apartment, condo or hotel room at this location? When walking out into the neighborhood from the towers where the hell would you go? I personally would rather be in the south gulch, near the river or Nashville Yards. Sorry, a little salty tonight

If I were the Ritz folks I would be embarrassed to have banners up with last years starting dates. Why not just call the developer to ask if they are going to build or not? If they don't respond, then report them as a NO.

Whatever happened to big government is a bad thing? Hypocritical behavior runs rampant in Tennessee. I'm sorry for going there but, this is just sad. If the Nashville citizens don't want something like this then to bad. Have it in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, or whaterver cracker town they choose.

The Tennessean has a piece out today about the redevelopment of 2nd ave. One sentence jumped out at me. Quote. "Private developers are also working on residential high-rises with ground-floor shops and restaurants in place of adjacent parking lots and on top of existing buildings".

^^^The English Ivy was a good choice but, just before the freeze we had rain then a hard freeze for three days in the single digits it killed many plants in Middle Tennessee. Notice around town all of the dead hollies and skip laurel. Established English Ivy in Middle Tennessee will stay green during the winter. They will have to replant.

Noticed yesterday new orange and white barricades going up in front of the KVB Police station. Also, a large amount of them stored on the back side of the Ritz property. -

^^^I didn't expect much from the state. 28,000 cars a day is a heavy load. Just maybe a viewing area on both sides like the pedestrian bridge would have been nice.

Our very own Mark Hollingsworth was praised last night during the broadcast of the Preds game for starting the chants in section 303. Congrats Mark for making our home games so special and fun to watch from home or in person.
