    ^^^Most of the people that are on urban planet aren't country music fans but a good percentage of the USA love it. For a mid-size city like Nashville the big investments being made are rare outside New York or Las Vegas. The celebrity honky tonks are printing money and we get big tax money and jobs to boot!

    Who owns the old state prison site in the Nations area? Major highway and river access within 3 miles of the city center would be a good location IMHO.

    ^^^The city just changed out all the lighting above and below the bridge just before the outdoor hockey game at Nissan Stadium. LED lighting

    Noticed Thursday core drilling in the parking lot across the street from JW Marriott and Hotel 1.

    ^^^I'm sorry but if Liff hasn't developed this land during the biggest boom in Nashville history...... Like I've said before, just landscape the ugly parking lots! Be a good neighbor!

    IMHO hosting either convention isn't worth the money or the exposure.

    ^^^Travel teams will love this. It needs hotels with kitchens and living space for budget minded families to stay for weekend tournaments.

    Told by someone that would know that the H.G. Hill property downtown Franklin will be a mixed use.

    Noticed fencing up around the H.G. Hill property on Columbia Ave in downtown Franklin. This is a old shopping center with a large footprint.

    ^^^Outsider alert! IMO the amount of ACC schools in and around the capital city makes Raleigh the front runner, no?

    Just got back from The Nashville SC game today. The guy next to me is visiting from Germany on a road trip of the middle of our country. Without even asking he says Nashville has been the best place to visit so far. Also very surprised at the size of the crowd. He just went on and on about the free live music. Anyway, it's just nice to know what I'm hearing and seeing myself is for real!

    Noticed while looking at Martin Flats website in WeHo that the skyline they use is Charlotte NC. How crazy is that?

    ^^^Maybe this will be Garth Brooks Honky Tonk. I can see him wanting a high profile address. Not a fan so much but that location is money.

    I can't wait to see what Vandy does with the Wendy's corner. The view from that intersection will be most prized.

    ^^^Rick Williams is a joke. He is always trying to blow up Metros plans for transit with a Plan B. He did the same with the AMP proposal as well. His Plan B's never see the light of day. All he ever does is derail what has been thoughtfully crafted for some idea that is backed by people who don't even live here. The Koch people are just trying to win for the moment but we are still stuck in traffic.

    ^^^Nashville is sandwiched between the two auto plants that are being built in Tennessee and Ky, This is Ford's largest investment ever. 11 billion! Out of the whole country we are getting both within about a hour in half either way.

    The Charlotte Observer is reporting Chip Ganasssi Racing the Concord NC based NASCAR team is going out of business as of Nov. 7th. The new owners are Musician Pitbull and Justin Marks of Trackhouse Racing. Marks is said to be looking at a 2022 move from NC to Nashville.

    ^^^I was at Gumbo Bros in the Gulch last night around 9:30pm waiting on to go food when a party bus came by at a very loud level of music. IMO this should be only allowed on lower broadway.
