I wonder what it was that happened in 2020 that decimated airline travel?

Ahh…yes. FOUR YEARS AGO. How much longer is that excuse going to continue? Another decade? Charleston has no idea what you’re talking about either as their passenger numbers are soaring. GSP is still stuck in neutral.

It took until October of last year before the industry recovered to pre-pandemic levels, so yes it is a valid reason. Economies don't turn on a dime.

Charleston has no competition. GSP does.

This must not apply to Asheville or Charleston.

And Charleston has no competition. Asheville still isn't busier than GSP. And who the hell cares about such petty things? You need some real challenges.

You’re right. I should focus on more important things like how GSP needs more quick service food options. Can’t even eat Chick Fil A on Sundays and Wolfgang is wayyy overpriced. Even Columbia’s airport has a Jersey Mike’s.

Again. Who cares? Please move to the city or town that makes you happy. You sound like you're miserable here. No one should stay in a place that makes them miserable. But wherever you go, there you are. Perhaps the issue isn't the place. Just saying.

Kind of like inflation and the overall economy. Who cares? Kind of like the terrible roads around here. Who cares? Kind of like the election this year. Who cares? Kind of like the wars overseas. Who cares? Kind of like the design of buildings downtown and road diet projects. Who cares?

That's right. Control what you can control, because that's all you have power over. If you don't like a place you can move. That's all you control. That's it. Nothing else.

That's pretty darn impressive for an airport of our size!

Yes. Even with Southwest dropping several ATL flights in June and American dropping MIA to once daily later this month it’s still a large increase across the board.

Avelo has extended their schedule through early November. MHT and ROC remain twice a week and HVN remains four times a week at least until then. No cuts. Great to see and shows demand is there.

They still haven’t opened up the new curbside drop off/pick up yet. Ridiculous. What is the hold up?

GSP-ORD with AA is now twice a day seven days a week. Previously it was once a day

GSP-CLT with AA is now nine times a day (eight on Saturdays) with three of the flights mainline. Previously it was eight times a day (seven on Saturdays) with two of the flights mainline.
