I know this may sound corny but I stopped looking at picture updates on the ave and trademark about 3 weeks ago. So whenever I would cruise through to see other developments and either one popped up I would close my eyes or scroll really quickly so I didn't see the progress. I guess I am just waiting for real vertical progress before checking in for updates everyday.

You can open your eyes now, Trademark is already on the 10th floor. In a couple weeks, they will officially be a high rise.

Well it is offically visable from 277. I noticed it for the first time coming back into town yesterday. This makes A2 very Happy.

I would assume they are testing...making sure the color and other qualities are acceptable before they sink several hundred thousand into glass.

This building is really coming along well. I am very pleased with the blue glass - it fits in perfectly with that Carolina blue sky we have on sunny days.

It appears to me that they are working extra fast on the floors that are designated for retail and office space.

I could be wrong but I'm guessing they are wanting to get them in asap.

Is it possible to get a certificate of occupancy for completed lower floors while they are still building the tower overhead? That would be interesting, and kind of cool.

When all the outside is completed, they could lease the office space before all the condos are ready.

It would be a safety problem as long as they are working on the out side.

They are now building the 13th floor of Trademark. Meanwhile, a construction worker was seriously injured when the brakes failed on the crane, dropping equipment on the worker.

I thought I read somewhere that it happened on the 7th floor? I think the CBJ said that, maybe it was on the top of the parking deck?
