Per GS and OBJ-

Mill Creek has submitted plans for what would be the 3rd Modera in downtown. The 25 story apartment building is on the 2 acre site planned for Highwoods Cap Plaza at Pine and Rosalind. Interestingly, "Highwoods jointly submitted plans for a 100,000-square-foot office building called The Commons. Both are seeking master plan approval and requesting a courtesy review by the city’s Appearance Review Board". "A pedestrian promenade, called the via, would separate the two buildings. The residential building would have 400 units and about 6,369 square feet of ground-floor retail space."

The article notes that the Modera portion will have on the ground floor 6,369 sq ft of retail, a lobby, and live-work units, while the Commons portion will have offices and 6,000 sq ft of restaurant. The buildings will be separated by a pedestrian-oriented "via." Could be a cool little street if done right.

Come on man... this is Orlando! When is anything "done right"?

Nope it get's Orlando'ed

I said Modera #2 because this will be an actual HIGHRISE unlike that bs in uncreative village.

Well, you're almost correct in that there is currently only 1 Modera in town, but it is the one in CV. The Modera with the UC now goes by Mondrain.

But since you include Mondrain as a Modera (and they do still have the signage up) and actual real Modera in CV is definitely one, then this new one on Pine would be #3.

Dont correct me.

But how do you ever expect to learn if you don't want to know when you're wrong.

YIMBY is the local group promoting density. At least they’re honest - OBJ would simply post the cascading press releases and not look further (see VMC, Tradition Towers and the infamous “7-star resort”).
