With the 8,481 student enrollment at Belmont, the figure is triple the 2,796 students enrolled in 2000 and marks a 57% increase since 2009, when enrollment was 5,393.

This represents Belmont’s 19th consecutive year of record enrollment. In contrast, the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center Current Term Enrollments Fall 2013-18 study indicates a 1 percent to 2 percent decrease across the country in college enrollment for the past six years.

Belmont Performing Arts Center update:

The International Market building has been demolished. Only 3 homes remain.

Side note: I wonder if there are any plans to bury the utility poles on this stretch of Belmont Blvd. They don't appear in any of the architectural renderings I've seen, but I don't think that necessarily means they'll be removed. They certainly don't help the sight lines, as you can see in this photo.

My guess is there is more construction to come on that campus. Your brothers money at work.

100% chance of that. The whole stretch along 12th has barely been touched and would create a whole new way to present the university and integrate it into the 12th South district.

Lipscomb University has landed an $8.4 million permit for construction of a three level 300 space parking garage at 1501-1509 Grandview. Tuck Hinton is the architect.  Ground has already broken.
