I wouldn't be adverse to seeing blue neon on some of the other older buildings.

Maybe a different color for the Copper Whopper, & around the roofline, rather than vertical. I'm thinking red.

Wachovia @ Central & Orange would look cool w/blue neon running vertically along it's corners & around the top.

I see nothing wrong with criticism--this is a forum, afterall.

The Wachovia building on N. Magnolia at Park Lake Ave. and the Day Building at Lake Eola both had neon at one point. It looked pretty cool on Wachovia (it was still First Union then, if I remember correctly), and looked hideously cheap on Day.

Amen to that.

Hope not. For godsake why must the Vue lighting have such a cheez-ball pattern! Is something wrong with a solid color, maybe alternating with "slow" gradient changes. The current pattern makes it look like some cheesy Vegas, no wait, Reno casino. When I'm with people from out of town, they think the building is some hotel or somewhere to go see the Blue-Man group!

IMHO, I think the Vue lighting is passable. the crest has excellent lighting with the while neon and spotlights... you can see it for miles. I view the north face as a plus; not sold on the color schemes though, but, it does draw attention to the bldg. as though it matters or something.
