On Aug 22nd Bordino's started serving lunch. Certainly nice to see. I really need to check it out sometime. I still haven't been since they moved to the new building.

I was on Dickson Street today and went by Bordino's. I had no idea it was right there with everything else. The building has a great urban feel to it.

Yeah it used to be next door. It does have a very interesting look. I'm almost surprised I didn't hear anyone complain about it not 'fitting in' with the rest of Dickson when it was going up.

Bordino's has the largest wine selection in the area, doesn't it.

The 36 Club right next door has received awards for its wine list tho I dunno how it stacks up to Bordino's. I usually order off of the domestic beer side!

This is the first real seafood restaurant in Rogers. I'll have to try it in a few months.

I ate at Fish City Grill yesterday in Southlake. When the one opens up in Rogers try the oyster nachos. Trust me on this one.

I hope LR gets one in one of the new developments. I'm a big fan of that place.

I'd be interested in trying th place out. I don't know about the oyster nachos though. I'm not an oyster fan.

No, it's a chipotle tartar sauce. It's good.

It looks like Lowell is getting another restaurant on Bloomington Rd.

The name of the restaurant is Palm Noodle Bar. My guess would be that this is an asian (probably chinese) cuisine restaurant.

Also, another Zaxby's has been approved for Fayetteville.

This one will be west of 71-B, North of Maple Street. The other one will be on 6th Street & Lewis Avenue.

I noticed that in the permits as well. I think that they might be talking about Springdale though. Maple and College in Fayetteville is not the best place for fast food. I looked up Maple and 71B in Springdale and it is located in the middle of all of their fast food places and near the hospital.

I hadn't thought about that but yeah Maple and College isn't the greatest location. I also wouldn't know what building they'd be going into over there. I don't think Papa Johns is leaving.

There is an auto detail place, an old gas station, papa johns delivery and some sort of old house converted to a retail shop. There are a few scattered restaurants in the area but no fast food types.

College doesn't go into Springdale...the road is college in Fayetteville, but once it goes into Springdale it turns into Thompson.

Interesting, I drove by there last weekend but I didn't notice that. I've wondered why Pizza Inn seems to have such a hard time around here. I always thought they had pretty good pizza. Maybe not great compared to some of the specialty pizza places. But compared to the more general pizza places it was pretty good.

I know, but the permit said North of Maple and 71-B. Since both Fayetteville and Springdale have an intersection that would apply to this, I would assume that it would be in S-dale. Since maple and college is not a very good area for fast food, but thompson and maple are in the middle of most of the chain restaurants in s-dale.

I swear yesterday the plans showed Maple & College. They must have changed it after seeing their error.

A new restaurant has opened in Bentonville next door to Samurai Japanese Steakhouse at 102 and J Street. It is called Bella Napoli, an italian restaurant.
