McClaren had their ribbon cutting today. I was taking a look at pictures and videos today, the building really looks great inside with very nice amenities.

But I still can't wrap my mind around the wall AC units.  Obviously price related, but who the hell made that decision?  It's like some Frankenstein imaginative merging of a luxury, modern apartment building with a seedy motel.  Can't wait to hear what people think about it in the midst of the summer when it can't manage the humidity like central air.. or especially after a few years when the apartments themselves all start to become musty from the continual exposure to those conditions.  I got to imagine the utility bills from these things aren't going to be pretty either.

I wonder what the environmental conditions in the internal rooms and corridors will be like (hallways especially..)

Those ductless AC units are cost effective and energy efficient. Those are not your grandma’s old window units.
