Many airlines are seeing softer bookings in the months ahead because of the Delta variant.

That's one factor leading airlines to scale back the number of flights scheduled for the latter portion of the year, according to a review of flight data by The Business Journals.

The data from Cirium, a provider of aviation and travel data analytics, shows total scheduled domestic flight operations for the fourth quarter fell nearly 6.4% between Aug. 3 and Aug. 30.

For Nashville International Airport, that means about 880 domestic fourth quarter flights were dropped over the course of August, a decrease of 3.6%.

I haven't read the attached article yet.  Is this connected to the Center for Operational Excellence (do I have the name correct?)?

Large cargo come from Frankfurt. Flew to Gander, Canada refuel on plane and napping, flew to BNA  drop off  at south cargo.
I don’t know what inside of cargo.  :dontknow:

Just Amazon Center for Operational Excellence. I think.

No, there is no connection to the Center for Operational Excellence. However, Amazon Air is part of the logistics that will be managed by them

Still waiting for FAA approval

I still say there will be a short period between announcement and start of flights, but that is my opinion

A while back, the board approved an incentive package to restart the flight. Funds will come from leftover funds from the original incentive package used to start the flight. That deal expires at the end of year, but I don't think it would be a surprise to anyone if that were to be extended into next year
