Another permit for $10 million has been granted to SWH Residential Partners for their Taylor Place project in Germantown.  This is for the 66,000 sq. ft. warehouse bing repurposed for creative office space.

CrossBridge Connection Center will be a 4 story building that will help end cycles of addiction, incarceration, and generational poverty.  It will be located on the empty lot at 33 Lindsley Ave. Crossbridge, Inc. currently works in the adjacent historic structure, and this will serve as an expansion. There will be 18 parking spaces in the back (facing I-40 inner loop).

A condo building of undetermined size we be built at 1414 3rd Ave. North on .95 acres by FrontFour Nashville LP, who just bought the property for $3.7 million yesterday.  They are organizing plans, including request for rezoning from industrial to mixed-use residential.  The nondescript, non-historical one story structure on site had been home to Goodwin Contractors up until  a few years ago. More details forthcoming.

The Nashville Jazz Workshop is officially going to relocate from the Neuhoff Plant complex to a former church building at 1012 Buchanan St. in the Buchanan Arts District. They hope to be operational there by early April.

The Wildhorse Saloon will be expanding with another 600 capacity concert/event venue in the 10,000 sq. ft.  property next door to the south at 114 2nd Ave. North. The $6 million project will be known as "One fourteen at the Wildhorse." The business of the existing venue will not be effected during construction by R.C. Matthews.  Centric Architecture is handling the design. The historic features of the building's interior/exterior will be retained.  There will be an interior connector between the two entities.

The empty .22 acre parcel at 629 7th Ave. South (just south of Jack White's Third Man Records) has been purchased  for $5.3 million by an unknown entity. The property has las sold for $485,000 in 2006. 

Obviously, with that kind of investment for 1/5th of an acre , there must be something quite interesting being planned for this.

Just like when the Preds made their dramatic Stanely Cup run back in 2017, the Titans are teaming up with The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. to host a huge Lower Broadway Watch Party this Sunday afternoon for the AFC Championship game from Kansas City.  There will be two huge digital screens set up.

The event site, which will open at 11 AM (2 PM kick-off), will include Lower Broadway from First to Third Avenue and Second from Demonbreun to Commerce. There will be live music, giveaways, food trucks and more at the event.

Video screens at Broadway near First Avenue and Second Avenue north of Broadway will broadcast the game. The event will also include live music from Jason Eskridge and Sixwire, who served as the house band during the 2019 NFL Draft here in Nashville. 

Attendees are allowed to bring blankets and collapsible chairs, but large bags and backpacks will not be allowed as security measures will be in place at the event entrances. 

According to the Weather Channel, the expected high for Sunday is 37 degrees, and it should be mostly sunny.
