Repurposed/revitalized historical buildings in Nashville

200 2nd Ave. North (known as the Liggett Building) covers 19,914 sq. ft over its 3 stories.  About 90% of it is now being taken up with The Register, a new private luxury social club. 

The Register will offer The Study on floor one (a bar for both members and the general public); The Walter on floor two (a private event space); a private space on floor three; and the aforementioned glass atrium-covered bar on the roof.

The rooftop space (an official opening of which has yet to be announced) will be accessible to the public but separated from a private and secured members-only area.

305 Arrington covers 2,272 sq. ft. over its single floor, and has recently undergone another refurbishment including a new deck as the Red Headed Stranger bar.

1400 McGavock covers 3,127 sq. ft. over its single floor and was built in 1954. It is currently home to Dose.

905 12th Ave. South cover, 2,450 sq. ft. over its single floor and was built in 1960.  It is the new home of a MacDougal's Chicken branch.

746 Benton Ave. is the Timothy Demonbreun House,  which covers 9,172 sq. ft. over its 3 floors and was built in 1910.  It is now a luxury event space.

This home has basically been on the market the last six years; no takers yet.

1901 Broadway covers 8,479 sq. ft. over its single floor and was built n 1952.  It is currently home to Chuey's Restaurant.

614 Ewing Ave. covers 832 sq. ft. on its 2 floors and was built in 1940.  A 400 sq. ft. public seating area was added later. It is the new home of Pie Town Tacos, and had previously hosted Hot Diggity Dogs.

1008 Woodland covers 6,322 sq. ft.  on its single floor and was built in 1943.  It is the new home of Boston Commons.

493 Humphreys St. covers 983 sq. ft. over its single floor and was built in 1944.  It is currently home to Gabby's Burgers:

3917 Gallatin Pike covers 6,026 sq. ft. over its 2 floors and was built in 1928.  It is now home to El Fuego Mexican Restaurant.

2220 8th Ave. South covers 3,118 sq. ft. over its 2 floors and was built in 1932.  It currently houses Avenue South Orthodontics.

Sylvan Supply (repurposing of 186,000 sq. ft. Madison Mill factory into office/retail on 7.2 acres) at 4101 Charlotte Ave. is now open.  Only a few shops being filled-out at this point.  Most of the interior is yet to be filled.  Beautiful job on the exterior.

502 East Iris  Ave. covers 2,080 sq. ft. on its single floor and was built in 1947. It is currently home to Trace Horse Studio.

1809 Division covers 700 sq. ft. over its single floor, and was built in 1945.  It just recently became home to  Baked Bear gourmet ice cream parlor.

914 Gallatin Pike covers 1,340 sq. ft. on its single floor, and was built as a service station in 1954.  It is now home to  Hearts Cafe.

2412 West End Ave. covers 7,400 sq. ft. on its 2 floors and was built in 1905, and added-on in 1955.  Currently, it houses Gyros Kitchen on the main level.

1002 Buchanan covers 1,800 sq. ft. over its single floor and was built in 1950.  It is currently home to Minerva Avenue Club.

20 Music Square West covers 14,810 sq. ft. over its 2 floors.  It was built in 1965, and was recently remodeled to feature Legends Bank.

NBJ has a feature behind their paywall on the opening of Sylvan Supply (I shared dozens of pics on this thread Aug. 5th). Some highlights about the 60 year-old, 186,000 sq. ft. former mill development:

-  Keller Williams Realty has signed a 14,500 sq. ft. lease.

- FortyAU software developer has already moved in.

- Eateries/bars include Otaku Ramen, Bearded Iris Brewing,  Radish Kitchen (already open).

- Other retailers signed are Woodland Wine Merchant and Row House Fitness.
