Cary Mack, managing partner at Southwest Value Partners (SWVP) had these items to share today:

- There will be 8 residential towers on the site, twice as many as originally planned.

- 2 of the residential towers will be underway in the first quarter of 2022.

- the railroad park will run under Broadway and be accessible from UnionStation Hotel (which SWVP now owns), and feature some musical elements, but not performance spaces. 

- The AEG portion (4,000 seat theater, cinema complex, etc.) should also be breaking ground in early 2022. 

- The parking garage element of the Pinnacle Tower is being engineered currently and final designs completed soon.  Opening is scheduled for 2025.

- 2025 is also the year they hope to see most of the construction complete on the entire campus.

- SWVP is actively evaluating other possible development projects in Nashville once Nashville Yards is starting to wrap up.

I can plot 6 real easy, maybe seven. I am going to have to think really hard about 8 as two of the sites are office. The hotel is definitely nixed! They may be in the middle of a reconfiguration of the site closest to the RR tracks but I doubt it as that looks set in stone. The last rendering of the pit looked pretty set too, with 5 buildings in there but there could have been one hiding.

There is another possibility and that is they have another site under contract. Can you say Southern Baptist HQ. Just a guess on my part, but they did take if off market and for what reason we don’t know. Big enough for two tower’s.

My other question is the NBJ said in another story that there would be other Amazon buildings and we know of one; where will others go????

The scale of it looks like undercutting but I couldn't say for sure. It would perhaps explain why they were boring at the same time.

Yea Gresham is multi-disciplinary and has a large field services staff. They may be out staking for the buildings, or they need additional information for possibly additional property information.

I always thought the original plan was too light on residential.  They had a couple of underwhelming 18-storiers. 

I'm glad to see they are cranking up the amount of housing in the Yards.
