Can you imagine if we get cranes up for MGM, Amazon 2, Alcove, Gibson, and Prime all at the same time?  We would have to re-name that neighborhood "Little Dubai".

The story says Amazon is buying MGM STUDIOS. Are MGM Hotels included in the deal?

According to Wikipedia, MGM Resorts International and MGM Studios are entirely separate corporations.

I grew up professionally in the credit card banking industry.  During the 90's, there was considerable consolidation activity that continued into the early 2000's.   I used to joke that one day, the answer to the question, where do you bank would be, Bank.

With this news, who knows.  Maybe one day the answer to the questions, where do you shop,  who did your surgical procedure, who's your cellular provider, and what's your favorite streaming service will be the same...Amazon!  Catch you cats later, I'm headed to McAmazon to grab a quick burger before filling up  at ExxAmazon and heading to my job at Amazon Realty.  :tw_joy:

News Flash:  Amazon merging with Lifeway.  New entity:  Amazon Grace.

Headquarters will be in the historic Frost Building on Eighth Avenue.  Theme song:  Amazing Grace.  (Or, in view of the recent real estate transactions around the former home of the Baptist Sunday school Board, the song could be "May The Circle Be Unbroken".)

I think it should read , May the Circuit be unbroken!
