Sorry, that will be an awfully expensive reinvent of a restaurant space. I know who one of the owners is in the group and not known for restaurant work. Not sure about the others, but there may be a lot of owners. My guess is there will be a redevelopment of the property sooner rather than later. They will have to sell a lot of beer and wings to make 7.5 million back.

The permit I saw on the property was a fumble by Metro as they filed a project from another site on this property. Seems to happen more and more with Metro these days. They can't seem to keep their properties straight.

My thoughts also. Plus the costs of renovating and build out. I’m thinking tear down and rebuild, just not sure what.

It would take Tavern, Brewhouse, and the retail spot behind it to make a good chunk for a building I think.

The large warehouse structure at 429 Houston St. that covers much of a 1.11 acre site is being slated for exterior renovation as well as creating interior paces for some new restaurants/businesses to go along with existing Jackalope Brewing Co., and The Alchemist. Miami-based restaurant chain Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is one of the new concepts being planned.

Developer/owner Hines has enlisted Civil Site Design Group to handle engineering and land-planning efforts. Architecture firm Hastings is handling interior design. The team will go before the Metro Planning Commission to seek final site plan approval on April 13th.

The developer recently paid a cumulative $15.85 million for the 20 residential properties that make up the site. Kimley Horn and Associates is handling engineering and land planning.  The team will go before Metro Planning Commission on April 27th for specific plan rezoning.

Now that is good! Lots of ground level retail, it spans the entirety of the stadium, it fronts the stadium and Bransford, 700 UNITS!!!, and has the possibility of being 8 stories. It couldn’t have checked more boxes and sounds like exactly what we were all hoping for! Well, at least what I was hoping for…

Only 12,000 SF of retail? When looking at the typical 80' deep bay, that is only 150' wide. I will be very intrigued by this development as we hear more and more. Maybe it will be a continuation of the stadium concessions where it is smaller, more attainable spaces that allow for local shops (by local I do not mean the cliche "This is Nashville" stores, I mean true local and diverse offerings. Those lots are also only 150' deep, so the parking offerings are going to be difficult to shoe horn in there.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee is renovating and expanding their Andrew Jackson Club at 916 16th Ave. North. STG Design handled the architecture.

Hensel Phelps Construction will kick-off the renovation of the existing 15,000 SF existing Club as well as the addition of a new 3,500 SF state-of-the-art Teen Center. Other improvements include a new roof structure above the entrance and updated grounds. Approximately 1,300 sq ft of the teen center is allocated to a Best Buy Teen Tech Center [at Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee] powered by Dell. This partnership and more will bring tech, coding, music, work-based learning, culinary arts, and more to the teen center.
