I passed by tonight and it looks like they're in the proces of taking the City Hall tower crane down. Kinda sad to have that disappearing from our skyline already. :( Oh well, maybe they can just go ahead and slide that puppy over to the Hilton lot. :)

Hopefully soon. I bet it doesn't start construction on the Hilton till Trader is complete on the exterior.

Yeah, I was walking by during my lunch break yesterday and noticed that City Hall Avenue is closed in front of Trader. They were in the process of pieceing together a crane, probably for the reason you mentioned, to take down the tower crane.

Looking good. Thanks for the pic.

Can't wait to see final product and for construction to move across the street. Man do I wish that 150 W. Main covered up its back side. That's one thing I love about Trader, the garage is camoflauged on all sides.

I wish to hell that 150 built that hump on top, so it would be more like a 30-story building. :angry:

Or at least make it a singular roofline. It does look stupid. Then again, that was CMSS's favorite design style. See the AH Tower as another wonderful example.

I'm having a hard time imagining other rooftops for Trader. Maybe a dome, but that's really it. I'm fine with the roof design they chose. It's the other CMSS buildings that annoy me. Instead of a growth on one side why didn't they do a dual-wing design flanking a central tower or at least a height difference of several stories. What they have now at 150 W Main, AH, and Fountain Plaza I & II just looks weird.
