    I suspect you will have to take out a large personal loan to do so! Personally, I am not hot at all on this site for office. Yes, you will get visibility during the Panthers games and from 277 but just a very boring area for employees to work in on a day to day basis.

    Honeywell is going to LU but not on the Duke fortress. The Duke fortress will get one of the big banks IMO but it will be in a re-developed tower.

    I think the other issue (and I'm not a retail guy so could be way off), buy I think that general ingress/egress in NoDa is bad and really limits the grocery trade area so a very small concept is all that's really feasible.

    BofA is blowing out of a substantial portion if not all of their space in Hearst as well as BofA Plaza. Temp space will be in Hearst from what I'm hearing. No idea where this thing lands. Could be anywhere - LU, Duke Bunker,Police Land, and there are several sites which we don't even know about yet.

    Are people working here yet? Seriously, Allstate might move in sooner. This has to be the longest non-Levine construction timeline in Charlotte history.

    I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but in no way do I think that Uptown is comparable to Canary Wharf

    Pre-cast is cheaper. You only do cast in place if you need to for structural reasons which I suspect LU had to do because it is so massive. If you are building on top of the deck, almost always easiest to do pour in place. Ally probably does not need as big of a deck so they are saving money by doing pre-cast.
