I'd actually be surprised if they manage to sell 25,000 more before opening day.

Yeah, unless they run a last minute ticket sale / reduce price, I think the people that were really excited / following the team have largely already bought tickets.

It’ll be interesting to see if there are any CLT FC fans in Audi Field. Inter Miami had more fans than I was expecting in its first year at Audi.

They are selling opening day tickets for $10. After Ticketmaster fees it’s like $22. They are trying to make the opening game accessible, which I applaud. Now, if they would only copy Atlanta on concession prices we would have something really great.

There is probably a decent amount of people that are holding out for when lower level single game tickets go on sale Thursday. The demand will only increase as it gets closer. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s completely sold out by mid February.

It's pretty amazing they've sold 50k without releasing individual tickets for sale yet.  They should at least come close to 75k.  Plus with so many people already going, I think there will be buzz around going when the time comes.

Also, they still haven't announced any Designated Player (i.e. big name) signings yet.  If they splash money on a big name that could increase exposure even more in the next month or so.

I have 2 season tickets for their inaugural season. I'll also be traveling to DC for the first game along with a few friends. Mint City Collective is organizing fans to attend away games, including the first one.

I've seen Mint City collective and saw them grow organically/grassroots movement.  I'm assuming they are kind of like Charlotte FC's version of Roaring Riot and Crown Club/Bring Back the Buzz.  I know they sell a lot of merch based off the "mint" color scheme but was wondering now that we have a team and colors would they change it up a little bit to match?   Basically, I'm just thinking about creating the best home field advantage and seeing mixed colors just doesnt seem ideal to me.  Especially, since we're a brand new club trying to build a brand/identity.  Idk, maybe I'm just missing something.

I think the team is leaning into the mint idea with "Minted 2022" on the crest.  And rumor has it folks on reddit found the away kit will be black/mint this year.  I bet it features consistently albeit as a third color

Thanks for that!  That makes more sense now...I'm glad to see the team will utilize the Mint theme/color in some form or fashion.  I was initially worried that none of the kits would utilize that mint color.  I personally like that mint color too so will be looking forward to see what they can do with those away kits.  

*We have a Terrapin in our family and they say Ben Bender is a beast from Maryland and was a great choice at #1.

Also on reddit someone mocked this up, if our away ends up looking like this I'll jump to buy it.  It'd be one of the better away kits in the MLS which is known for generic white aways most of the time

Not Charlotte related but I am intrigued by the economics of MLS... Sounds like Las Vegas thinks they are next in line for an expansion team and Wes Eden (rich guy who is also a co-owner of Aston Villa) is negotiating ownership and stadium issues (without the expectation of  public money it sounds like).

To digress even further from the topic of MLS in Charlotte...  Eden is an owner of Brightline. Brightline is finishing up construction of its Miami-Orlando passenger rail service (engineers are testing on a portion of the route now), and says they will build 'greenfield' HSR from Palmdale to Las Vegas. The connection between MLS and Brightline is kinda logical for Eden since the Brightline model involves a ton of station-area real estate development as part of the business model.   They have frequently mentioned Atlanta to Charlotte as a route they are interested in (but I am sure they will need to show investors they are making big money on the first two routes first, and Brightline has struggled with investors so far)

We're also a few days away from signing La Liga winger Darwin Machis once World Cup qualifiers are over he's slated to fly to Charlotte versus heading back to Granada.  He'd be our second DP signing and a good compliment to Karol Swiderski who was the first big signing last week.  Exciting to see it all coming together within a month from the first match!

Anyone buy PSL's with others? 
Some buddies and I bought 4 seats next to each other and can not figure out how to resell as a package. We tried to get CLT FC to help out, but they just said that we cant.

We got supporters tickets and I can't find out if there is a dedicated place to buy additional tickets for current season ticket holders. You can list them directly through Ticketmaster but I think I can only see the general Ticketmaster sales site

73,500 tickets sold for opening night Saturday. We are going to beat the all time MLS record. Resale availability is extremely low as well, going to be a packed house.
