Southend skyline notice the Hawk rising up well like a hawk. The Holiday Inn Express is going to fill up and stay filled until more hotels open.  They better crank up production of those signature cinnamon rolls.   And this skyline is only getting taller too with the Lowes tower.

The Bradham the Lennar Pepsi project looks good and retail signage is up already.   The Hub apartments and retail space at Dunnavant  and Hawkins  is coming along.  Holiday Inn Express getting ready to open it seems. Today drive bys.

Transportation and distribution has always been the calling for our city. These distribution buildings are our history and our present. The new rail-truck terminal, Amazon buildings, Concord airport and CLT expansions and the flood of money investing in warehouse and storage space in our region are the contemporary version of this. Land use changes but the drivers of our economy have a different look or location, they do not disappear. They shifted from this view to another view elsewhere in the county.

Went to Superica yesterday afternoon for a friend's birthday.  Must have been there right around the time you took these pictures - based on the sun and shadows!  Parking on a late Sunday afternoon.  WOW!  Just as tough as a Friday night or Saturday!
