    I heard someone while walking around SouthEnd telling the person that they were with that this is just going to be another 6 story apartment building. I laughed! Have they been living under a rock!? They really think this has topped out.

    Old Duke building residential conversion. Not sure if this has been posted or how long this signage has even been up. Hopefully this will begin soon!

    This might end up being my favorite Noda apartment new build. At least for the exterior being mostly brick and having a nice sharp look yet having an aged look.

    I hope whoever buys the other parcels plan really innovative high rise development. The North side needs more density to match the south side. I honestly felt like the previous plans were quite lackluster in comparison to the new and improved library.

    Can someone explain why the retail on LU is pretty much vacant when right across the street, the Ally building has one of the most vibrant ground floors in all of Charlotte…is it the rent?

    Kind of blurry, but there has been lots of cleaning up of the fenced in surface of this area. Hotel news??

    And this type of mentality is why most of the United States looks like copy and paste. I will never be happy just because it helps the demand. These structures will stand past our lifespan and we will have to look at the result of what greedy developers built for the sake of profit with bare minimum thought of good city planning.

    At this point, I’d rather they just finish this glass box and scrap the hotel so that we can have the roads back to normal. I’ve never been so sick of a construction site more in my life.

    I’ve stayed off this thread for about a year and yall are still uploading pics that look the same as the ones from a year ago. Just hang up the entire project at this point. The hotel component renderings don’t even do it for me anymore.

    It’s so funny how everyone laughed at me months back when I said that this would be the tallest residential tower in the city slightly above the Vue and this is the post I was waiting for someone else to post. I should go and find that thread…

    Not the digging of the lot. I go but there multiple times a week so I’m really referring to that part. The lot just started digging up. Thought there was an announcement that needed to be made soon.
