Great shots Kevin

Likewise. 2300 Berry Hill has really popped up in a hurry. I'm still not totally clear on what the Melrose Lanes project will look like.

Also...if you find the shot I took with Union Station in it, click on it and beyond the Gulch cranes, you can faintly see the Belmont cranes (it was much more noticeable in person)...they have, what, 5 cranes up there?

What kind of camera/filter/processing are you using, UTgrad?  That's the good kind of surreal.

Interestingly enough, just a camera phone (Droid Razr) and straight to Facebook. I have other pics on here that are from a real camera...but most of the time I don't like to lug it around.

I tried some zoom photos up there, but they didn't turn out well.

As for surreal...not sure how they got that way. Some of the pics were in some pretty intense sunlight (about 4pm sun)...the pics at the beginning had some nice cloud cover (nature at work).

Was there a group tour of that building for a specific business or organization? One of my friends from college posted a pic from that same building a day or two ago. I think I see him in a picture also.

It was the Young Urbanists group, and yes, a tour. It was yesterday afternoon.

Wow.  I was sure those pictures had some kind of processed effect.  In any case, very cool.

So I saw this on the Twitter page. Is this really what it looks like? Not to be harsh, but it looks like someone just haphazardly put Christmas lights up

That looks...bizarre...maybe it was really windy or something?  :dontknow:

I think it was windy...but since there is wind and rain downtown....on a regular basis, they should've definitely accounted for that before they put them up.

I think what they need is a guide wire in the middle or close to the bottom that keeps them straight.
