    I love the views from the Westview on 8th! Another good place to take pictures is from the rooftop pool area of the Downtown Y.

    Had a thread on SSC about gentrification and I don't think it's working well here in Nashville either. I would say East Nashville has the highest income inequality in the city, the stark contrasts you see in that area are just odd.

    Born at Donelson Hospital, which has been closed since 1995. Grew up in Cheatham County, off Bearwallow Road. I've lived in Madison since I was 7 years old. I am definitely Native Middle Tennessean. Though I am moving to Mississippi in August.

    Thanks! Forgot about the Cumberland Science Museum, that is a good spot. I'll check out the other places yall mentioned too.

    Where are some good locations to take pictures of the skyline as a whole? Since Downtown Nashville is right along the river there are few hills next to downtown to take good shots from. The only place I know of where I can take good skyline shots is the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge.
