I would like to think that the environment would be more condusive to it changing, but I can't say for sure. What I do know is that the younger lawmakers from my area are not so set in their ways, and I think as more are elected that they could change the system- this is assuming they aren't corrupted by it first though.

138 acres along the North Columbia side of the Broad River, between the I-20 and the head of the canal, may be developed into a "river village" by a developer from Lexington. A strip along the riverfront would be donated to the River Alliance and the Three Rivers Greenway would be extended. Developer envisions a "downtown neighborhood linked to the river."

More river development is good. This also sounds like a solid plan.
