Put this in your pipe and smoke it...bc of this administration's policies, the US Dollar is steadily being replaced internationally.  Google it, but don't expect your talking heads to draw your attention to it until it's too late; they still have a hard on for donald trump.  Learn how bad politics has direct consequences on economics.  I don't know who you are referring to as deranged, unless you are pro US economic collapse and think that anyone who is against it is deranged.

You should take your own advice, but try to get your information from non-rightwing propaganda sites that spoon feed you what you want to hear....

https://www.forbes.com/advisor/investing/strong-dollar/

And before you waste your time making the standard left-wing biased, MSM accusations, note that Forbes is anything but left-wing.

I hope you are right.  But I am worried about this.  They say the Dollar when Trump left is now worth $.87.  It's only been two years...I know what happened to some European countries when they shifted to the Euro and their currencies were devalued while others got a 1 for 1 exchange rate.  If they do that to the US Dollar we will be in trouble- not the elites...we...

so...what I read was that because of the high value the Dollar has/had in 2022, those Asian countries are looking to create a Fund to compete against it.  Malaysia, China...even Singapore expressed interest.  Add to that Russia ~India ala the Ruble from last year.

At the end of the day, the Dollar is fiat currency and extremely vulnerable, and will probably not survive because of international moves-if they happen the way its looking.  it is not gold-backed and the constant adjustments by The Fed can only go so far, and some of the anti-Dollar sentiment out there has been in response to all the money that's been getting printed the past few years.  So, these bailouts and money to Ukraine, etc., have consequences, and may actually end currency as we've known it sooner than later.

I'm no expert, but there are lots of economists discussing this, and they have been for the past few years.

Economic gloom and doom forecasting has been going on forever.

It is great for the economic conditions.... of those making the gloom and doom forecasts.

There's always a market for it because people eat that stuff up.

Well, they also peddle investing in things too, so I try to cut thru the hype.

Yeah. Do you know what the difference between China, North Korea, and other socialist countries is today and historically, with the US? Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, and all of those other socialist countries? You guessed it.  If you don't like it, then MOVE.

Do you know what the difference between Alaska, Mississippi and Wyoming compared to Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York is? The first three states' gun murder rate is more than eight times higher than the last three states. Before you mention New Hampshire, nice try, it's gun murder rate is still more than three times higher than the last three states. Gun safety laws work. The stats don't lie.

So I've got this 'great' idea to introduce to HR's around the country...in the spirit of making sure a healthy co-working culture gets off on the right foot, I am proposing that the traditional interview be replaced with...drum roll...a keg-er-view.  Yes, a full blown kegger during the interview...for good new employee morale.  And by kegger, I mean anything goes recreationally.

At 1:13 a door opens up revealing a guy in a darkened room or closet, tending to what looks like a conspiracy evidence board, but it's pretty dark and flashes across the screen so fast you can't see what all is on it.

So I paused it at that frame, took a screenshot and brightened it up some....

Master Plan:

swans

Bithlo

The Chairman of the Board, Mickey Mouse

sports cars

Costco

eat, sleep, kill

he's a sly fox

LOL.  so many things..  my favorite is the Welcome to Bithlo sign.  It's just so iconic.  The second day I was in Orlando when I first moved here I heard a disparaging remark about Bithlo.  It's stuck with me ever since.  But these guys are very creative.

Another pillar of the Democrats "criminal justice reform" appears to be crumbling. Just like the Democrats dropped defunding the police like a hot potato after massive public backlash, they are (at least in New York) beginning to undo "bail reform" after disastrous results. It's astoundingly racist how the Democrats equate being weak on crime to being pro-black.

They shouldn't be either.

And btw, not being "pro black" does not = being "anti black".

They shouldn't be pro or anti white either.

They should be neutral with regards to everyone and let the laws apply equally to everyone.

The Republicans too.

What a crock. No mainstream Democratic leader has uttered the phrase “defund the police.” What some have said is that maybe, just maybe, police should be held accountable to the rule of law and perhaps shouldn’t kill people, primarily people of color, without any accountability whatsoever.

And yeah that GOP plan to keep us all safe and sound is working out sooooo well. Thank god we’re being protected from trans folks and drag shows.
