Governor Youngkin has been doing a lot of damage in Virginia. He recently vetoed a gradual increase of the minimum wage to $15/hr by 2026, vetoed an assault weapon ban and vetoed recreational marijuana sales (marijuana is already legal in Virginia, but selling it is currently not legal).

The plan he was aligned with to move the Capitals to VA was squashed. How much political will does he really have among VA voters?

In Connecticut, police can't pursue stolen vehicles.

they still will be like so:  the stolen vehicle was driving recklessly (when they saw the cops) causing imminent peril to the4 public at large...therefore qualifying as an exigent circumstance justifying the pursuit...

The amount of fake news on Facebook is mind blowing. This "news" article was on my feed for some reason. It claims someone who sang the "black national anthem" was fined $1 billion by the NFL for doing so. Regardless what your feelings are about there being a "black national anthem," you would have to be a potato to actually think someone would get fined such an outlandish amount of money FOR ANYTHING! I don't think any person or company has ever been fined that much money in human history.

none of the major news outlets reported a fine.  why would there be, when that woke organization was behind it in the first place?

but, seriously, you are correct that the $1B fine is ridiculous to consider.

And the NFL chooses who sings (and what).  The fact that people would believe that she randomly decided to sing THAT song over the Anthem and that the NFL didn't know ahead of time is ludicrous, hence the need for a fine.  You don't have to be Alex Jones to either see that or ponder that; its common sense knowing the recent track record of the nfl.
