WeHo news: The latest tenants signed to be part of Somera Road's "The Mill" (a converted 1 story Vintage Millworks structure at 515 Merritt Ave.) are BC Gym (11,000 sq. ft.) and Hermitage Kitchen Gallery (3,300 sq. ft.). Barista Parlor has already committed to 5,000 sq. ft. space.  This leaves 4,800 sq. ft. remaining for another food & beverage tenant to complete the line-up.

Building permit started for the soon to be former location of Taqueria del Sol location on 12South.  The permit calls for $1.6 million in construction cost, so this may be more than the usual "spruce up". Hopefully the final name won't be - 12 South Wine Cafe.....

Taqueria will be missed. We went on Saturday and it was packed - as usual. Closing (this location)  Friday.

We think these are the people out of NY and we are trying to run down the details. Saw the permit last week as well. Permit say renovation ad addition.

From the FutureVU article: "Vanderbilt University is making extensive upgrades to its utilities and other infrastructure as it prepares for campus growth. The Central Utilities Initiative, scheduled to begin in Feb  2023, will provide enhancements to support various Vandy United projects, the Highland Quad Residential Colleges that will be built along 25th Avenue South, and other future projects." The new utility project is for upcoming projects on this end of campus and to create redundancy  in their system. The original  power plant was already modernized in 2014.
