208 23rd Ave. North (2 stories, 10,000 sq. ft. office space) is scheduled to be razed by HCA Health Services, who bought the .4 acre site and structure for $4.8 million last month.  HCA owns the adjoining property at 204 23rd Ave. North.No word on their immediate plans.

Some more info on The Berry, which is the new concept for the .8 acre lot at 2526 8th Ave. South that was formerly the site of Athens Restaurant. It will be 5 stories, with 60 units (Airbnb and short-term rental studios),  6,500 sq. ft. of ground level retail, and a 118 capacity internal garage.  Cost will be $20 million and is being undertaken by a partnership featuring NHP Properties. MJM Architects is in charge of design; Snyder Engineering is overseeing technicals; Conrad Construction is the contractor.  Work is underway.

Westbourne Townhomes will be 3 & 4 stories of 19 units at 3205-3209 West End Circle in West Park.  Mainland, who paid $5.5 million for the 1.2 acre site, is the developer;  Manuel Zeitlin Architects is in overseeing design; Barge Civil Associates is in charge of engineering/land planning. 

They will seek final site plan approval related to the urban design overlay that covers the property. A Sept. 14 hearing with the Metro Planning Commission has been scheduled.
