Phase I of 407 Great Circle Road in MetroCenter (5 stories, 365 units, 9,000 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant space) will be getting underway soon by Oldacre McDonald developers.  A permit has been applied for.  Phase II of the 15 acre project will feature another 300 units and and additional 12,000 sq. ft. of retail.  Niles Bolton is the architect; Barge Design Solutions is in charge of engineering/land planning; R.C. Mathews is the contractor.  Still no renderings.

The city celebrated renovations at Hillsboro High School with a ribbon cutting yesterday, also unveiling a historical marker. The $96 million in upgrades include a new library, cafeteria, art spaces, courtyard areas, and more — expansion which allows for 1,400+ more students.

I am sort of with you Randy. Not a fan of the design of this building. It serves a need but is out of place here and looks absurd.

Not sure if there is a thread on Harding Town Center by St. Thomas West on Harding pike, but the gas station by Publix is gone and the Taco Bell posted on the building that they’re closing soon. I wonder if these will be roped into that project.

It is my understanding from an administrator at St. Thomas is they are taking over much of that area up to the Publix shopping center.  Plans include a connection and expansion to the Richland Creek Greenway and then some additions to the hospital long range.

They currently are amending an old SP to work with the Greenway entrance. Popped the Dev. Tracker a week or two ago. I wouldn't expect anything here, other than what GreenHillsBoy mentions in terms of hospital expansion.

Good to see. That side of the street is kind of surprisingly underdeveloped between 440 and 42nd
