The company is out of Charlotte and their name is Madison Capital Group. It has nothing to do with the location of Madison in Nashville as it is their branding method.

2106 24th Ave. North will be a .75 acre, 3 story, 12 townhome development by Jackson Builders.  Building Ideas is the architect.  Work should get underway in March, with all work being completed by March of 2023.

Elmington Capital has purchased the 7.4 acre site at 5330 Charlotte Ave. that includes an outdoor shopping center and several fast food joints for $17 million.  The guess is that they will announce a large residential complex on the site, which is within 1/4 mile of the I-40/Briley Parkway/White Bridge Road interchange.

My guess is they will put some sort of affordable housing here. Elmington is not known to just simply sit on a property for long, so I would expect some community meeting to start happening soon for this property.

I hope so too! Otherwise, for this plaza, I have fond memories of getting upset stomach from China Buffet (2 for 2 on that one) and the policeman who appeared to be guarding the employees at Burger King.

This is exciting! That stretch is very difficult to traverse on foot. Hopefully it will mean the shops across from Richland park become more desirable and the vacant storefronts will fill in

I think it was going to be a restaurant, Burger Fi, but Covid happened and it stalled.

Hard to say. Rhino Books, Headquarters, and some of the other shops have been holding on for years while others sat empty. I'd guess some of the property owners have been waiting to accumulate multiple locations and the reason for their desertion has less to do with a lack of foot traffic and more to do with property accumulation.

I hope so. I've been driving by that location for a decade thinking how could cool it would be if it had some sort of row house situation going on. These townhomes below are brand new in Atlanta. Mixing something like these in with retail facing Charlotte could be a major game changer.

Elmington is not known for doing anything this nice unfortunately. I would be doing summersaults if they did and (that would be a site in itself). Elmington will do it on the cheap as they do most everything else, but they have to do it on the cheap if it is affordable!

If they do it as a market rate project, then there is hope for something nice, but I just don't see it. I commend Elmington for doing what they do for filling the gap that no other company in Nashville seems to be doing right now,

Councilman Brandon Taylor said nothing has been applied for by Ardivan. His website is not really working now and all of the projects with the exception of this one, have disappeared.

William reached out last week when we saw trees being cleared as he did have a up to date permit.

He may be in a stink as his tree removal permit expired in 2019, but I am unsure if it is covered under his grading permit that is open but not issued. I for one will not believe this project is under construction until it is topped out. This guy has not built anything other than a few homes and has been full of nothing but hot air for the last 8 years.

Most majestically placed port-a-potty I've seen! Thanks for the photos - I've been wondering what the views are like from up there since noticing the hilltop being cleared from I-440. View is obviously amazing but I would imagine the wind+highway noise could be pretty bad?

Also, we've never gotten anything more than the Sky Nashville renderings from 2016 or so, with the sort of disembodied building on like a cartoon grass background, right?

Noticed on the development tracker that the plan was scanned and uploaded for 1111 63rd Ave N.  Not a lot of detail, but looks like a mixed use development for the old warehouse/distribution facility.

Sylvan Supply, the recently renovated/repurposed Madison Mill factory complex at 4101 Charlotte Ave. (158,000 sq. ft. office space, 35,650 retail space, and internal garage) has been sold for $87.5 million by Third & Urban and FCP to CBRE Investment Management out of NYC. Third & Urban purchased the 7 acre site in 2018 for $12.5 million.
