It's an attractive building. The website has no information to speak of. I am curious to see how receptive the market is to condos sharing amenities with hotel guests.

If you ever question why the 85 road widening project has been underway FOREVER, just drive by on any given day and look at all of the equipment sitting idle with no activity. Clearly the State of SC has never thought of performance bonuses to finish a project ahead of schedule. -
Hopefully a "real" airline. I have zero interest in these fledgling airlines with no staying power.

I find it interesting that the active railroad behind this site, and the condo project beside it, does not seem to hinder condo sales.

This instability is why I have never flown a start up discount airline, and likely never will.

We have moved beyond Greenville sucks to the whole country sucks. Ha.

They should have razed the entire site with a more cohesive mixed use plan. That Canvas building is just ugly. The mural is impressive but that is lipstick on a pig.

Unfortunately there is not enough ROI to renovate the exterior facade.

I am not terribly optimistic on this project. The Spinx family did a very mediocre renovation of the Army Navy building. And their strip center with their offices on Washington is an abomination. They have the capital but seemingly lack the taste or ambition to build interesting architecture. -
Good for Charlotte. I am happy for them. I hope Greenville does not become Charlotte.

Any updates on The Matador going into the Husk space? They originally announced by end of year, but there have been no signs of life.

I actually liked Caviar and Bananas more. And they seemed to be doing well until Covid hit.

I agree the Avant seems unlikely. It would be nice to see a new concept and developer take that site.
