    Yes that is exactly what I am talking about. I said this before and was attacked lol. I don't think that it is ugly at all but it looks very elementary on a more mature looking building.

    No! But that's why its a guess. I love murals, the installation piece just looks cheesy to me. And it just doesn't go with that building at all. It should have been a sleek covering. Too much going on. It looks like it belongs on the side of "Discovery Place."

    Unfortunately some is still able to be seen. I think it is just so tacky.

    The Buildings look better consolidated. The office building looked kind of weird in the middle of the parking structure. Seems more complicated to build. Though I will say that the deck itself looks more noticeable unfortunately. And at least this could be finished faster.

    Was this the one proposed years ago thag was supposed to be like 12 floors or so. I would guess it’s gonna be the same ole 5-8 but hopefully not.

    It’s so strange to see a city booming this much even in the pandemic and so much land be stuck and undeveloped. Just imagine if this was all sold to other developers at once. This would create so much life. Ugh

    The most exciting part of this development besides it being a great fill in for the skyline, would be the retail it is adding to the back end because that area is a pretty dead zone. Pretty much until you get to the epicenter.

    Southend alone is literally at the peak of having too many 5/6 midrise apartments. It looks too forced at this point. So I completely agree! The variety in heights looks so much more interesting.

    They’re literally tearing down Midnight Diner as I type…what a site to see.

    I’d rather see hotel or residential anyway. That area has a lot of office. Cities are better with a nice blend. Mix it up. I’m not a big fan of mixuse buildings tbh I’d rather just an array of different buildings side by side. Like I don’t want to live in the Bank of America building…or have a condo above the Holiday Inn

    Still no renderings and this is halfway done. Maybe it’s going to be just that basic…I hope they actually do something unique here. Some nice sleek brick or something modern and clean. Just have some character is all I ask for….

    This is definitely needed. That area looked so depressing and nasty.

    This building is actually gorgeous but at the same time…..why such a short building on prime high rise property. This belongs in SouhEnd

    If only they could buy the Aquatic Center out and use that land too.

    If this doesn’t get a large hotel or residential component then it will be an epic fail all together. This project will be dead after work hours if it is all being dedicated to just office. Yuck! Since The Duke building will be bringing in all of those lofts and luxury apartments then I would hope they see a need for a large hotel to be a part of this development. I mean come on. It would be one of the most occupied hotels in all of the city with the stadium right there.
