You know, skyscraperpage.com need to update there info more often.

Its hard to keep up w/ Miami development.

I wonder what the statistics are for downtown Miami.

Everyone is allways talking about the fastest growing towns, cities, counties and metros, what about downtowns, I would like to know what the stats are for Miami.

And where it ranks with other cities in the US with a booming downtown.

(unless I missed that topic)

onmi mall,is a partially vacant mall which was brought for 110million dollars,it has about 11 acres.

plans were submitted last month to the city and it includes 4639 condos, and 227,192 sq ft of retail also 8000 parking spaces

these renderings were posted at ssp by chad but i'm not to sure that these are the really renderings just probably a masterplan or some massing studies.

That white building would be huge. Look how small it makes the 530ft Opera Tower (the oval shaped building next to the tall white building) look.

pawnmaster this isn't the omni redevelopment rendering it was the presentation presented by zycovich architects while doing the pac area masterplan and redevelopment pdf.

but since the omni development project area is going to have 4500+ condos over 11 acres that would mean something around a building per acre and 410 condos per building ....meaning that theres a good chance that each building will probably be over 500feet. which would mean crazy density with 11 buildings over 500feet,this is project is the biggest thing proposed in all of florida.

and the terra group has yet to say what they're planning hopefully that mix well together, the best thing is that arquitectonica is designing both.

Brickell CitiCentre was able to fit 2,424 condos into just 3 buildings, but then again the Riverfront project needed 6 towers to get to 2,860 condos.

Where are you people...enjoying the long weekend Im sure.

Anyhow, have you guys seen the renderings for the proposed FTAA building? If we did get this location I guess it would kinda provide some justification to the resort to be built in Watson Island; The hotel provides a wow effect to the area, good for sellng the area as the FTAA home
