Well definitely if it breaks ground in October. Studio Park has at least 2 years of cranes in the air I would imagine.

By "2 tower cranes and third being assembled" I was referring to the one at Warner Tower, the one in Monroe North, and the third being assembled at the Studio. I had no idea there were actually 3 tower cranes on the one site.  Wow this is going to be good.

Is Pioneer building all of the buildings, or is there a mix of construction companies? It's crazy when you realize 5-6 buildings going up at one time. The logistics have to be insane.

I believe Pioneer is the lead on at least most of the buildings. Seems to me like they're putting on a show right now.   I just drove by on the s-curve and there were guys working up on both red tower cranes, like Crane De Soleil.  If they choreograph assembling the booms together it will go down in the GR history books.

Thanks. Who has the Franklin Partners office building? There's a Pioneer trailer right in front of the footprint so I assume... 

With Celebration Cinema having so much fun with the Star Wars theme and the ground-breaking, I'd like to see them do something like turn the tower cranes into light sabers.   A little LED lighting, a little approval from the planning commission...

You got that right. I was staring straight up in that same lane because the boom on the left crane spans over the s-curve

Great photos. Honestly, when I see photos like this of foundations in multiple locations, I’m amazed everything end up working out.  I think my rectangular building would end up being a trapezoid (and quickly condemned). LOL.

I'm I seeing this correctly?  Did the city really just reconstruct Oakes in front of this massive project, including brick pavers?   Seem odd to do that with the constant truck traffic running through here for the next couple of years.

Maybe they had to do water/sewage work? I agree...seems pretty dumb. Also, the bricks could be old and they just replaced them.

Seems like they should've waited.  This is from earlier this year

Oakes need to be finished first to reconfigure utilities, eliminate the bus. 131 intersection and prepare to extend Ottawa south to Cherry. 

Besides, all construction traffic will be off Cherry.

FYI that yellow base that looks like a tower crane base is apparently NOT a tower crane base. Some other type of equipment.

From what I've seen most of the trucks are entering/exiting south on Cherry
