Crap, I will be out for this one. Looking forward to meeting .

Yeah, I wanted to meet mirydi and Nashville Cliff, as well as possibly Nathan_in_DC, if for nothing other than just to say I've seen 'em (although I could just lie to myself).  With Ron being out for certain and others on the border of not showing up, it's a 50-50 chance that I kinda might tend to be seen there, maybe.  Not to forget that Daniel always has made it a good reason to go.

We should have Myself, William, Kevin, Cliff, Brett, Daniel, and possible 2 or 3 others for a decent size meet. If you are on the fence, try to make it for at least an hour. Should be 73 degrees tomorrow. We could do a walk if people are interested.

...oh yeah, forgot that you'd likely be there, John.-- with a fresh and current "urby" run-down as usual.  I'm more likely, than not, to show up.

Would someone please take some pics?  Would be great to see the big projects underway.  Thanks!

I'll try and take some for ya.

..., where do you guys usually park?

,,,cant speak for most but at least one parks in the pay garage built into the main library building itself (entrances on 6th Ave and 7th).   I believe that the first 90-minute period in that garage is free (see:...)

Nashville Public Library (Main)

I myself park about 3 blocks north-northeast east, on the State Capitol horseshoe drive (by entering its west portal at  Charlotte Ave and 8th (where Rosa Parks/8th Ave breaks at Charlotte behind the State Supreme Court, then by driving nearly all the way around it).  At around 10 am, parking along the east leg between the Capitol and the Cordell Hull and Sevier Buildings, approaching the point where the drive returns at Charlotte (just east of 6th), puts you as reasonably close as practical without having to pay (state parking is free for all on weekends and after business hours).  I park there because it's only about 300 ft. from my job bldg., if I decide to go to the office after the meeting.  It also gets me a quick egress from downtown, upon my leaving.

Solid turnout for a UT game day... Mirydi, it was a pleasure meeting you and hope you can make it out to our 9th anniversary meet next time... As for the other dozen of you - glad you could make it...

Yes, Mirydi, it was you and you, too, Nashville Cliff, who were a driving force in my decision to attend this morning.  The only real reason that I might not have shown up would have been phreakin' laziness ─ that's all it would have been.

Thanks.  Nice to meet you, too, as well as the other new (to me) faces.
