They were all taken simultaneously on different settings, rather than over a length of time. Like I said, they were actually mistakes in my shooting that, fortunately, I was able to turn into a good thing in the end. :D

Oh okay I see now. I guess I never thought about that. I just always thought the HDR pics I'd seen were taken at different times. Maybe some are, I'm not sure I haven't looked that much into HDR yet.

Some people may do it that way, I'm not sure. Either way, I'm very happy with how mine turned out! I'm looking into maybe getting one of those little beanbag-type camera stands as an alternative to the tripod in certain situations.

By the way... Chicago may be off for this year for personal reasons.

^Wow, that's awesome, especially considering the sky blends completely with the backround of the forum, so you would almost never know it's a picture.

Yeah. I liked how it blended in with Flickr's background as well. The photographer apologized for the washed-out sky, although I think, in this case, it was the best thing that could have happened!

Nate, FYI: Cool shot!!! :)

Sorry to hear about your trip.

Once in a Millennium Moon mural in downtown Shreveport, courtesy of 'wally2953' on Flickr. This is painted onto the 12-story AT&T building.

Wow, that's quite a mural. I guess what impresses me is the quality of it. I've seen murals before but not any that looked that nicely detailed.

Another shot of Common Street in downtown New Orleans:

Nate is that a one way street?

Check out this guy's Flickr photos of Shreveport-Bossier. The first page is just a collection of photos taken at El Dorado Casino, but the second and third pages have some really good street scenes from the Boardwalk. Then after that, you get back to El Dorado Casino, where he shows the inside of the casino and the inside of his GORGEOUS hotel room at El Dorado.

Oh and then check out the very last photo he has posted, on page 5. It's from Dallas. Funny!

Once again, another great shot Nate. So many streets to choose from.

Very nice Brian. The Boardwalk is a GREAT looking place to hang out. Enjoyed those photos.

I posted a RSA Tower pic on Southern Pic of the Day. Not the best quality, and not the angle I wanted. Wasn't sure to put pic in slow Alabama forum?

^ What's yall's opinion on one-way streets ?

I've been hearing more and more against them. We had urban designers make suggestions in my city recently and one of the things they mentioned was to get rid of all the one way streets. Looks like my city is slowly in that process.

Nice shots Nate and Brian.

No, Louisiana isn't exactly known for its extremely elaborate interstate interstate interchanges. ;)

Correct. Texas is awesome when it comes to decorative roadway structures.

Richy: I agree. That's my favorite spot in this entire area. I love the way it looks with all that concrete and steel, especially when there's a lot of traffic and trains going overhead.
