I'm guessing it was last Saturday, mid-afternoon. There was a heavy shower for about an hour. I sought refuge in Port City Java to enjoy a cozy shake with a couple of friends. Afterwards, the sun popped out and the crowd came alive once again! :shades:

That's a pretty good guess. It was around 3:00pm on Saturday when I saw NYT on the riverbank with camera and tripod in hand.

Thanks, guys!

I love the green, too!

You know, I look at this photo and the only things I can see that I'd change about that view are:

  • It'd be great if the visible utility lines weren't there.
  • It'd be wonderful if the center turn lane on Poinsett Highway were replaced with a landscaped median and individual turn lanes at major intersections.
  • I'd like to see Pinnacle on Main and the Camperdown.

And definitely The Tower at Falls and Broad! Imagine the view with another tower at the height of the Landmark Building - or taller... :shades:

Oh, and add RiverPlace phase III, the Federal Courthouse (when it ever happens), and another mixed-use high-rise somewhere in the middle of the CBD (Spring @ McBee?).
