OK, this is a repeat from a previous POtD. Let me explain. Thanks to all of you who have said kind words and encouraged me with my photography, I joined Upstate Visual Arts about two months ago. Saturday I entered two pieces into the Claude E. Smith Jr. juried show. I recieved word yesterday that this one was accepted into the show.

So when you go to Artishphere this year, don't forget to stop into the UVA gallery at 640 S. Main and see the exhibit. And if you want to say hi, I volunteered as a gallery attendant on Sunday from 1-4PM.

Many thanks to all of you for your support. Without it, I wouldn't have had the confidence to try this.

Congratulations, NYT! Great to see your work gaining reputation in Greenville. UVA is a great place to hone one's skills into professional art. I had a hunch you had joined them. Keep up the great work!

Yes, downtown was absolutely bustling tonight! We went downtown to have dinner and I was just amazed at how busy downtown was, even for a Friday Night, which is typically very active...and this without a Drive Game, Grrrowl Game, or Major Concert going on. It must have just been the weather!

Nice g-man! That is great news. I was downtown about 10:00 AM. Lots of people out and about then too.

Don't sound so shocked. Downtown pedestrian traffic is always very active in the warmer times of year.
