This isn't much of a photo, I just took it from my bedroom, but they just installed the first piece of glass on the top row of the cladding on the Pinnacle after finishing off the row below earlier this morning.

It's so true! So many areas in Nashville downtown, and close to downtown, have seen a night/day transformation in a few short years time.

It's one of the best cities in the US right now, for that specific example. 

Areas that were once parking lots, or under-utilized with a couple of businesses in a low rise buildings, or very low density areas are being turned into mid and high rise districts with bustling street activity, new retail, new office, new residential and entirely brand new neighborhood creations.

It happens on such a massive scale to only a couple of US cities every decade or so. I'd say Austin is also seeing the same scale of development, and they are a good 6-8 years ahead of Nashville.

He did say 7, I know of the two currently under construction, the one between Pinnacle and Grand Hyatt, one on Commerce and the two fronting 9th . That’s 6 , so is there another parcel ( maybe the Steetlights parcel behind 1010 Church?) or are they considering turning 1001 into residential?

There is a residential going to go up on the eastern side of the Amazon towers and directly behind 1010 Church St.

Hmmm…Think Brad said “Amazon 3”…so that does mean Amazon is definitely still going to be a part of the tallest building?  I know there was some speculation that they may not need that space anymore.

Took this picture while walking yesterday morning. Seeing some nice progress on the ground floor enclosure and the movie theater walls.

Some additional info on the Culaccino Restaurant announcement. It will be located at the NW corner of Commerce St. and 9th Ave. North on the ground floor of The Emory (eastern AEG residential tower).  It will inhabit a 6,700 sq. ft. space, with 20 ft. ceilings and a cover patio that will wrap that  corner of the building. 

The northern portion of the patio will face the entrance to The Pinnacle, the development’s 4,500-capacity live music venue, making it the perfect place for dinner and a drink before a show.
