I dunno why--maybe it's the angle of the pics--but the Pinnacle seems shorter and more stubby than it should for an eventual 524 foot tower. 

I get it's not done yet, but still seems shorter to me than it should at this stage. But probably just the angle of the shots.

I've been thinking the same thing and I don't think that 524 feet is the right height, I think it's just over 500 feet.  It's going to look big but not as big as I had originally thought it would.

I'm sure we're all gonna be really surprised how well Pinnacle turns out, but right now, with 6 floors to go, their old building has a lot more impact on the skyline.

The new building is in a more crowded neighborhood as far as high-rises are concerned, for now.

Here is a view looking east from 20th Avenue and Charlotte today.    The Pinnacle tower will be prominent from this angle but will not stand out as much as the old one for the reason correctly pointed out by downtownresident.
