Three more days.  It’s gonna be such a big project that Bank of America will end up moving their corporate headquarters from Charlotte to Greenville.

I would say spoiled moreso than they dislike Greenville. We seem to take what we're getting for granted here. Lots of places are not even growing.

One more day.  This project is gonna be so big that it’s gonna make Camperdown, County Square, ONE, and Riverplace combined look small. 
 

Tell your husband, wife, kids, pets, uncle, aunt, parents, brothers, sisters, in-laws, coworkers, attorney, doctor, mailman, the old man down the street, all of the airlines that refuse to come to GSP, some random person at the grocery store, the fish you caught in the lake, etc.

I cant find where today has been reported as the day to get renderings.  I did see where Beth Brotherton was asked recently and responded that there were no renderings.  Is this legit or an elaborate UP hoax meant to crush my dreams?

edit: no renderings at the drop in meeting. Confirmed. Oh well. Not sure what the point of the meeting was.

• Meeting room: 8,000 square feet
• Total rentable space: 43,000 square feet
• Support Area
• Front of house (lobbies, restrooms, terraces, etc): 24,000 square feet
• Back of house (kitchens, loading area, staff office, etc): 37,000 square feet
• Total support space: 61,000 square feet
• Museums
• Museum and gallery: 60,000 square feet
• Greenville County Museum of Art: 20,000 square feet
• Total museum space: 80,000 square feet

 

Here’s a look at the project’s timeline:

• Initial ideas → Master plan phase (current phase) → City and County interim review and approval of master plan → Detailed design is worked out between public and private stakeholders → Design Review Board process → City and County review and approval of final design → Construction

At one time it was supposed to be 60k for each museum, and total cost was over 100mm. Since then, construction costs have soared and the estimate went down? Bait and switch?

No word on height yet. Still in the design phase. That construction cost and square footage I listed is ONLY for the museums and conference center not for the entire mixed use project which is slated to cost around $400 million to build total.
