Man i wish this thing was 600-700 feet, it’d be awesome to just add another 4 “boxes” on top. I love the design regardless- 827 replies

I was wondering the other day if Indochino was gonna go somewhere else after they closed the one in green hills. This will be a great slot for them and I imagine a bigger store space too.

If they are referring to the new steakhouse at this location it’s called “Handcut”, Hall’s could own it but i was at the opening party the other night. It’s gonna be very tourist driven with a live music stage and everything. if anyone is thinking of trying it was mediocre at best, definitely worth going to own of the other steakhouses in town.- 325 replies

This property is so eerie at night right now. It’s like a several block dark gap when you drive by, really odd going from midtown to downtown. Will be great when it gets moving and eventually completed!

I’m sure it will get adjusted for cost some what but just seeing the general goals here is quite exciting. More activation on the river has always been needed in the parks, could set a good precedent for what they want to do on the east bank eventually!

I love all of these mid rises on and around church street, it will truly help an area that needs the density. Not to mention the feel of driving in from the west seeing the gradual change in density of midtown to downtown.

May have been mentioned, but has there been any movement on the second tower? I know the 3rd and 4th will likely be more down the road but this one has really sped along and is just about topped already.

If anyone else is a little bit of a stadium nerd, i found this twitter account with some awesome ideas for Major League Ball Parks. He builds 3D models himself and has great ideas for when days have lesser crowds and how the stadium could adjust for it. Really interesting stuff for sure, would love to have something like his ideas in town if we ever get a MLB team.

Excited about this! Have we heard any more on the possible retail types or even a possible grocery? It’s like hard to tell if any of the sample retail spots could handle a small Trader Joe’s or something.

I really don’t understand the height or density argument of the neighbors, right across the street you have multiple office buildings and the new “Manning” condo buildings. Not to mention the St Thomas west hospital right down the road. It’s just frustrating in an area that needs the density and growth to be hindered in a way that seems to be inconsistent to what they have allowed in the past.

350 and 360 are gonna feel huge next to the interstate on this side. Really excited for the canyon of glass and steel to get going on this side.

Has there been any more word on that Dallas Restaurant “Harper’s” going in the Fourth Capitol building? I saw the space in street level on the Hermitage side, is finally starting to have construction and internal walls put up. Curious if it was this restaurant project
