Boy I sure hope so! This has been in the works since I lived in Belknap five years ago. It sure would've been nice using something like this pushing our stroller vs. going down the hill on a busy noisy Michigan St to get downtown.

So I just got a phone call regarding this building, did some digging and found this: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/56-Division-Ave-N-Grand-Rapids-MI/17588044/ The flyer in the link mentions building a ramp on the Ellis lot south of this building. And this: https://mls.carwm.com/listing/30518552/56-Division-Ave-N-Grand-Rapids-MI-49503 And have been told that 7 stories might not be the final height of this building once all is said and done. Keep in mind this is all still very speculative.

Whirlpool in St Joseph is going to be adding on a rather large expansion.

The Garage Bar in Ada has started going vertical.

So silly question on this, does that now mean that the business owners would also have to take down any signs saying that they are no longer responsible for lost or stolen items in their parking lots?

Now don't hold me to anything on this, but I've heard this development is a more 'luxury residential' proposal vs. Sligh which I believe is more market rate. So I don't think they'll be cannibalizing each other for prospective tenants.

Yep, the Meijer Hangar should be going up soon. Then the West Michigan Aviation Academy is putting up a hangar at the end of the concrete pad in the picture below: @walkerIs that the hangar you saw that's almost finished?

Haven't heard anything about the concourse expansion lately, but there should be a couple of new hangars popping up around the airport fairly soon.

I was just in Greenville about a month ago, it did have some strong GR vibes, or GR has some strong Greenville vibes, either way The wife and I flew into Asheville and travelled around the Carolinas, Greenville was probably our favorite stop, Asheville the least favorite.

The shorter part of the building (under the big reddish circle) is going to come down. Then they will build a new expansion that will be about the area of the shorter building plus almost all of the parking lot to the left in the picture above. Also, looks like they will be pulling down the facade and updating the look, the Guitar Center facade will be getting the same update.

This isn't a guess based on the drawings I'm currently looking at.
