    Fingers crossed that some good news trickles out of the meetings tonight. Hopefully, media will be outside to interview the participants. I’m ready for some more concrete information at this point.

    Just a quick rant State of Center City was released tonight: Positives: They highlighted the Rail Trail, which if done right can become one of, if not the first place you take an out-of-towner. Negatives: The presentation did not mention the impending UNCC building uptown, which brings 1,000s a day. I feel like that was a missed opportunity. Random: The fact they quoted the Honeywell CEO so prominently in the presentation, all but assures me they will be in South End or Uptown.

    If the city works at it with zoning and building restrictions (setbacks, ground floor retail a must) the Gold District could be one of, if not the best neighborhoods from an Urban Standpoint in the city.

    The rumor I heard was remaining Legacy Onion space. Not sure that is correct though, I hope for Spectrum South End and naming rights.
