  1. Yes. Their company filed for bankruptcy. Look for a lot of Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant and The Loft stores to close soon, too.
  2. Stopped at the Shell SuperStop at Markham and Chenal yesterday. Burger King has vacated its former space. All signage has been removed. I'm not sure when that happened but yesterday was the first day I noticed it.
  3. Anybody else have difficulty with the name "East Sixth"? It doesn't roll off the tongue easily. I'm calling it "E6".
  4. Weird. I had the link saved in my favorites. For the last few months all I've gotten was this: This is what I've always used. I've saved the "new" link. Thanks!
  5. Anybody know what's happening to the old Mathis Tire Shop at Old Cantrell and Cantrell? Lots of work going on at that location.
  6. I didn't know where else to put this, but can someone provide me with the link for plumbing permits? The Department of Health has changed up its website and the link I use is no longer valid. Thanks.
  7. It appears the Shell Station / Burger King at Markham and Chenal may be in its last days. A sign went up at the Markham / Chenal intersection stating the property was "For Lease, Ground Lease or Build to Suit." This is from the Newmark Moses Tucker Partners website: Shell / Burger King Murphy USA has certainly put a dent in the Shell station's business.
  8. Seriously? Are we going to have to endure Steve Landers commercials where he's riding a drug store horse with a toy six-shooter?
  9. Someone needs to tell United this. I see direct flights from LIT to DEN in August. United Airlines - Flights LIT to DEN nonstop
  10. I hope this isn't seasonal for the crazy winter fans. I would love to use Southwest to get to Denver next spring and summer. I know Frontier has direct flights but they are only offered on Thursdays and Sundays, I think.
  11. Not according to Gearhead's website and Park Plaza's directory.
  12. Yep. The Nike store is no longer listed on the Nike website. The Gearhead store in the Promenade, as well as the Fayetteville, Bentonville, and Shreveport locations, are listed as "temporarily closed. Other stores in the chain are listed as open.
  13. I noticed on my way home last night there is sign on Chenal stating that ULTA is coming soon to the shopping center where Old Navy is located. Is this new or something that was planned pre-pandemic? Is ULTA in MidTowne moving or is this a second store? With Sephora suing JCPenney about its in-store stores, will Sephora be looking for new locations outside of the JCPenney stores? What's to become of the former Krispy Kreme location? Seems like a great location for a fast food location. I thought maybe Black Angus would relocate there but it went back to its "near" roots.
  14. If it loses its status as a Metropolitan Statistical Area, won't it just be relegated to a Micropolitan Statistical Area? I think Hot Springs has been a Micropolitan Statistical Area for years.
  15. According to this article, the Amazon Distribution Center in Pflugerville (Austin), Texas is 3.8 million square feet. Pflugerville, Texas Amazon Distribution Center
  16. Oh, I agree that it is nothing like the conceptual plan that's been gathering dust for...how long now? That pipe dream was never likely to materialize.
  17. I disagree that the site plan is underwhelming. I'm glad it's planned for the big box store to be hidden behind buildings on the outparcels. The problem is what would want to build on those outparcels. Retail? Not likely. See, The Promenade. So, the plans look good but in all likelihood there will be acres of parking lot around the Costco. And that, is underwhelming.
  18. Costco considering a location at Chenal and Kirk Road? 'tis a rumor going around.
  19. It’s permanent. P.F. Chang’s Little Rock Location to Permanently Close Sorry I didn’t see the post above mine. I hate posting from my phone.
  20. What's strange is that on P.F. Chang's website, all locations that I looked at showed regular hours. Even in places where restaurants have been ordered closed, regular hours are posted. The listing for Little Rock shows closed on every day of the week. The only other place I could find was in Las Vegas. A location there is located inside Planet Hollywood Casino which is temporarily closed.
  21. I think I've been in there twice. I'm not sure I ever ate there as the service was so bad. I know for sure I left on one occasion. Probably both times.
  22. The AC looks great! Glad that building was re-imagined as a hotel!
  23. I had no idea Whichwich had closed. Of course, I'd only been there once and was not in the least bit impressed.
  24. La Madeleine? I could see that. Genghis Grill? I could see that one going away as well.
